I was going to wait & see what find of downloadable content for Worms was going to be free/reasonably cheap before i bought the game. But my buddy told me he wanted to buy Worms so i broke down & bought it with him. Its only the 4rd XBLA game i've bought since i've owned my 360 (about a year) so yes i was impressed how fun the demo was.

Having fun so far too. The Challanges are all fairly simple except #13. I'm up to #17 now so things should start to get hard.

My biggest complaint is actually how long it takes the AI Worms to think before they move. In Worms Armageddon the AI only thinks for a split second & then moves. Waiting for them sometimes gets frustrating. Music is also starting to get very repetitive.

But otherwise a great game guys. I can forgive Team17 for the content left because i know the 50mb limit must have been frustratingly limiting for you, i'm sure you would have plopped in a bunch more content if you were working with 150mb. Also know that Microsoft has a say in how much you charge for DLC.

Anyways, would love to see Lemmings on XBLA! Didn't know Team17 made that game too until i saw this site (but the similarities in both games are obvious). So get crackin'!

I think I remember Team17 saying that they were working on a free update to fix the AI thinking times!

And Sony are the ones with the License to make Lemmings games now. They chose Team17 to develop the new games though!

AI has been addressed. DLC on the way :-)

No chance of Lemmings on XBLA I'm afraid.

One of the problems is, most people who've had the game from the start will have finished the challenges by the time any patch comes out. So the people complaining will get no benefit (or, perhaps, minimal for those that choose AI play) whereas the patch will benefit all the newbies.

Such is the pain of an early adopter. It's a good job software doesn't have to be fit for purpose and free from defects like proper goods that you pay for. I've certainly encountered enough serious issues in this game that if it were a £10 toaster that didn't toast bread (or exploded my bread as soon as I put it in the toaster - if it let me put all four slices in the toaster at once - which it mostly won't) that I'd be taking the toaster back to the shop for a refund. Can't do that with this.

I await the .. It's difficult, blah blah blah.

The challenges are meant to be played multiple times anyway, that's why they record the best times. Faster AI will just give me another reason to replay the challenges.

There is -one- serious issue with the game, namely the 4 player connect problem. The rest are minor problems. Fighter jets and commercial aircraft fly with software problems, bugs and glitches - it is -difficult- to test this stuff. The title went through 19 rounds of testing and has to be certified by Microsoft for it to be released.

One of the greatest difficulties in developing online multiplayer games is that some of the customers won't be able to tell the difference between it and a toaster.

By the way, is your toaster behind a NAT? That might be an issue.

And why would people that have completed the challenges be complaining that they are too hard to complete?

And how can you compare a game that has challenges a little too hard for you, which will be fixed, to a toaster that does absolutely nothing?

Not if he opens more sockets! I recommend using a fork, but it has to be metal or it won't work.

What I love about this example is that a £10 toaster is 17% more expensive than Worms, so it damn well should have a higher build quality.

Music is also starting to get very repetitive.

Please see this thread, which tells you where you can download the music from older Worms games. Then you just need to play it using custom soundtracks, and you're set. http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=32000

Thats great to know to AI will be addressed. I'd recommend you guys also fix it for the Trial Version too since the AI wait times was one of the things that bothered my friend until he finally decided to purchase the game (so i assume it would bother others).

A shame no Lemmings though :(

Well then why are you complaining about repetitive music?
