I just downloaded the full game from trygames.com thinking that it was backed by team 17 and that it would operate as the full game. Well, it doesn't go online at all and is full of glitches. Such a ripoff site should not be advertised by the company who made the game. I'm hoping to get a refund but if not i'll just "borrow" it from a friend. Team 17 already ripped me of my 20 bucks.

I agree.

Nope. Trygames did.
And don't be a stinky pirate. You'll be hated here...
On https://secure.team17.com you can buy WA and Worms2 in a box set for two American dollars and 72 cents more than the Trygames version, including shipping. Not only will you get a copy of the game that can actually be patched, but you'll get two games and a nice device which has at least three uses:
A coaster
A frisbee
A digital storage device containing two excellent 2D strategy games
I'd say that's definitely worth the extra $2.72

I also recently found that TryMedia may be sneaking adware in their downloads:

On a similar note Cyber, AVG Free thinks your Shell Extension is a virus :S

That might be a sign that you need a better anti-virus solution ;)

I prefer a false positive than a false negative...
