I know by default that this version of Worms was created in mind for a wide audience of those new to the series and those of us who are veterans. However, I do feel a little disappointed to know that even the most basic weapon (baseball bat) has been left out. The majority of weapons will not be missed but weapons like the bat and the Holy Hand Grenade have almost become expected in each iteration. Will we ever see downloadable packs that may add such weapons as these for those of us wanting a more fleshed out experience? Maybe a Hardcore Pack that would lend itself more to the skilled players?
It has already been said that weapons will NOT be avaliable for download. Things like voice banks and map themes will be on the other hand.

Well that just sucks. I love that Worms is hitting Live, but it just won't be the experience that I have grown to love.

I wonder if we can create our own voice banks with the XB Live mic?
That would be sweet.

Lol, its funny how first of all people keep whining about when its out...
then when its out, they start finding other stuff to complain about
enjoy the game, or dont play it..... ur complaining means nothing
you're right mate, people will always find something to complain about :)
i've always been a heavy user of the shot gun and the buzooka so as long as i've got those 2 i'll be happy. the baseball bat would be nice but its not the be all and end all and it won't affect my enjoyment of the game

I like it when people complain about people complaining :p
As long as one of the punches is in the game, then you can still safely take out a worm at close range, and that's all that counts. As I recall, Worms is rarely about melee combat.
yeah but there is nothing more amusing than using the prod to kill off an opponents worm!

it has both the dragon uppercut and the fireball. fireball for more distance less height and uppercut for annoying people walking above you through a thin piece of floor lol.
for close combat nothing beats sticking a lump of dynamite right next to them, doing a little worm laugh(hope thats still in) then jumping away - was always cool
its even more funny when someone is doing that to you and they mess up the jump and end up standing right next to you when it blows up haha

lol yeah seen that more times than i can remember, they drop the bomb jump, away into a 1pixel piece of land, bounce back, land on bomb, BOOM!
