The Game won't load..

Hello,

I just recently got WWP and I have Windows XP SP2. When I double click the icon on the desktop absolutely nothing happens. No windows pop up, no black screens like I've been reading on here.. absolutely nothing. I've tried various solutions on here like changing compatibility, changing resolution, changing to 256 colors and I can't get anything :(. Any ideas?

have you tried starting the game through the start menu?

seriously, though, try reinstalling it.
