So I just built my new computer, but I am using my old Windows disk since I really don't want to have to reinstall Windows. I just uninstalled all hardware drivers and replaced them with the new ones, and it works fine. Only problem is, when I start the computer the "Windows has detected new hardware" window pops up and tries to install a "PCI-E Device" (which would be my graphics card). I already installed drivers for that, so I don't know what windows is up too. How do I get it to stop doing this? Trying to install it as windows wants to simply fails.. Annoying.

Well. if you ask me, you could better Reinstall Windows. if you do that it will detect all hardware in the beginning, why not a fresh computer with a fresh start hmmm?

Or just click yes. and then see what happens.

As I said, clicking yes makes it think for awhile and then decides it couldn't install anything.

Actually it said PCI Device and not PCI-E, not sure why i missed that. But I have no PCI devices in the PCI slots, so the computer must think that there is and therefor fails when trying to install it. Strange. I disabled it though in the device manager untill I actually put something there. Hopefully it will stop bugging me now.

Okay, I reinstalled windows now =P
Fixed that problem. Computer runs fine. Except some USB problems.. devices such as my Wacom and USB headset won't work!! But my mouse does, and that's usb. This is very puzzleing.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
Windows help site (which is often very good) told me to delete the USB's fromt the Device Manager list and let the computer refind them. Now they work ^^
