880 AD. The glorious Open Discussion Empire (Ohdee to its friends) now has six cities, and stands poised to do stuff.
(Transl: I've played through the early bits for y'all)

Stuff to note:
Paul.Power - Capital city (Sorry :p) and Science centre. Home to the Great Library and Notre Dame, plus a Scientific Academy.
Squirminator2k - Production centre, also currently most cultured. Home to Stonehenge, The Oracle, National Epic. Buddhism (current state religion) and Hinduism founded here, Buddhist holy site built.
Pigbuster - Main port. Judaism founded here, Jewish holy site built
AndrewTaylor - Financial centre. Confucianism founded here.
MtlAngelus - South coast port. Taoism founded here.
FutureWorm - Random city placed in the hope of procuring some dye.
And oh yeah, empire based on Louis XIV (Cultural, Industrious)

That's a lot of Religions you have there, Paul. Impressive.
Appropriate, also, that I would have constructed Stonehenge. :D

Also appropriate that none of the religions so far have been founded in Paul.Power.
Although there's still a chance I might get stuck with Islam (someone else got Christianity)

It's hard to keep track of everything, to be frank. I now have four Academies and a whole bunch of holy buildings. AndrewTaylor got the Parthenon and Hermitage, Pigbuster the Hanging Gardens. Pickleworm becomes my seventh city, giving me a port on the west coast.

Would like to see the power stats though ;)It's me playing on my own. I'd've thought all the city names would give that away...

Fair enough. You're all cities of the Open Discussion empire. Your job is to grow with people, produce solidiers, workers, buildings and Wonders for the empire, and generate money, research and culture. The game plays from 4000BC to 2050AD: the accelerating rate of progress is represented by the shortening year interval between turns.

Err... I won. In 1981.

Something tells me I didn't really think this through.
Oh, well, it was my first Cultural Victory. Paul.Power, Squirminator2k and AndrewTaylor all ended up with 50,000+ culture points.
I suppose now I have won I could try starting a few wars...

There. Now no one can say I'm uncultured.

Addicted much?It was quite quick, really. Most turns I was just deciding production orders then hitting End Turn.
