A thing I would love to see is a compilation of the old amiga games like superfrog and alien breed. As an ex amiga gamer I would to play those games again. They wouldn't need to update the graphics as far as I'm concerned just playing them would be good. The platform I think that would by great for that is the PSP. I already own the capcom compilation so I can play some of the old favourite like mercs, streetfighter 2 etc. I hope they'll do it sometime.
What do you people think.
Have a look on this post from today:

You'll get the same answer for all other consoles.
BTW, you can get all of Team17's amiga games full and for free from www.dream17.co.uk.
All you need is an original Amiga or an emulator (http://www.amigaforever.com).
(Isn't there a way to get an emultor running on the PSP?)

Actually, the psp one works. A little on the slow side, and I haven't tried anything but sensi on it, but it works.
It's at http://pspuae.com

Does Worms DC run on it?

Let me try it out, I'll get back to you on that.

Not that I have a PSP, but I'm quite sure some people are interested in that.

Oh, man. If I could get homebrew working on my PSP again, and assuming it works at a sensible framerate, this would totally reinvigorate my interest in the handheld. Superfrog, Alien Breed, Arcade Pool, WormsDC... all playable on the move, people.

Hehehe! :D
This contradicts all your arguments in the discussion with quakerworm and the other guys in the other thread.

I don't think it does. What I've said here is that if I could get Amiga emulator working then my PSP might actually become useful. That doesn't contradict anything at all.

Eh, seems like the emu doesn't like my custom firmware, so I'll ask on the forums over there if anybody's gotten them working. But Alien Breed does work, apparently.

Squirminator2K: I have gotten back into the Amiga Retro scene again, I might redo my config files some point, so they work better with WinUAE 1.3, and possibly fix a few bugs.

S2K is talking about getting PSPUAE to run and emulate Worms DC and Superfrog on a PSP.
He has various original Amigas to play the orginal games natively.

OK. PSPuae hates me, but I've asked around. Superfrog is playable, but Worms DC does not work, due to the graphics or something.
What, does it not work with agas?

Exactly. I don't know if they plan to add support for that, though, or if they even can.

I know, but as a point.
Dream17 did host some configs I made a while back.

Yeah an AMIGA TEAM 17 Compiliation pack for PSP would be cool!! There is already a SEGA classics pack and Capcom Classic and ATARI etc and EVEN a MEGADRIVE pack.

I would reccomend getting ahold of your old Kickstart and Workbench (no need for the install) 3.1/3.0 disks, WinUAE, and ClassicWB. Will let you install the workbench pretty easily.
You also get the goodies of booting up WormsDC and using its workbench apps, as opposed to when you'd just launch WinUAE from the ADFs of WormsDC.
