The game closes when connecting

I have this problem, when I select a game it closes and I get back to the desktop, and the same happens if I want to host a game.
Any help?
I have the latest patch and update.

Where did you get the game from? (I ask this because I've not heard of this problem before, and new problems tend to be attributed to pirated copies)

Edit: scratch that... you say the game crashed when a game begins? That sounds like you updated the game improperly. Use the "installation made simple" guide here: http://www.nanacide.com/wahelp/
