help me with the patch pleeeease!

Hi, I have Worms Armageddon but when I install the latest patch that I need for some maps on Wormnet, WA stops working and goes on about error reports. PLEASE HELP AS I need it to play on Wormnet

There's usually a good patching guide at http://www.nanacide.com/wahelp but it's temporarily down at the moment.

Tell me what version of W:A you have (hover your mouse over the logo on the title menu, and it'll display along the bottom) and i might be able to help, as some different versions need to be patched in different ways. If you have the TryMedia/TryGames version, they don't work with the patches at all, so you won't be able to play online. If this is the case, i'd recommend trying to get your money back and getting hold of a CD version of the game.

Do you know anything about importing your own picture files in as maps?

Yes. Go to the forum index, click "Worms Armageddon", then click "Recived custom files but don't know what to do with them? Come here" (it will be near the top), because that has all the stuff about maps and stuff.

Custom maps need to be 1920x696 pixels in size, and any area that is coloured pure black is space the worms can move in. If you wish to play these maps online, you can either re-save them once imported into W:A which converts them, or just save them in the correct format yourself, which is 8-bit PNG.
