Freeze Problem loading Deathmatch

I've got a little problem.

I had just installed SP2 today, and tried out a few games and programs. Some things work, some don't.

I tried playing W:A today and gone into the Deathmatch mode for single player. The loader gets to about 15% and freezes completely. The only thing that will unfreeze the game is to take the cd out of the rom, and then an error report comes up about W:A.exe.

I've tried other modes like quickmatch and such and they work. Could it be a corrupt profile?

I really don't know what's happening but maybe the CD is a bit damaged or something like (I think he can't read some sectors).
So try to clean it, or make a copy or something, and try it.

I'm not really sure, just try :P

I believe it to be a corrupt user file.

When I created another human user, the game would load normally and I could play. With my original profile, if I were to play any type of game mode where I had to load my profile, it would freeze.

Damn, that's a shame; any input on how to fix it might be nice, too :D

Please attach your teams file so others can test it, and perhaps examine it more closely. It's located in %yourWAdirectory%\User\Teams. It's called "wg.wgt".

You could use TeamED to recreate all your progress (you'd only use the score points).
