As I saw, have to be 256 colours, and 24x32, but...
How the hell I do transparent background?
I'm using photoshop to edit it, and tryed lot of options. Can you help me?

BMP can't have transparent areas.
RGB 0-0-0 black is treated as transparent by WA.
BMP can't have transparent areas.
I seen that can be :O (Using GIF Movie Gear, and extracting to BMP)
RGB 0-0-0 black is treated as transparent by WA.
The first colour in the palette is this, the #000000. However, I see the background of the grave in the game :(.
If you did any, can you tell me how?
Thanks!

Maybe bmp32 but you can't make graves with it.
Do that what KRD suggested.

But is #000000 the colour actually being used in the grave's background? Perhaps it's not saving properly.

ADX, why dont you edit an existing gravestone, and use that black.
Thank you all.
Well, I don't know why Photoshop can't export BMP in 256 colours. I had to export the file into PNG-8 and with MSPaint re-save it to bmp.
Tryed lot of things, and don't know how (lol) it worked, so I won't wonder about how to do it, I'm getting crazy xD
Thanks for your supplies.

Photoshop most definitely can do that.
Frankly, I don't know where the settings are at the moment.
As Liketyspli suggested, I too always simply open a working gravestone edit it and save it under a different name. Photoshop then takes over the correct settings.
Oh ok. I'll try ;)
Thanks again masters!
This is how you can create graves with Photoshop that work correctly in W:A:
1) Create your grave (24x32 pixels, 96 dpi)
2) Go to Image > Mode > Indexed color
3) Choose "System (Windows)" as palette (=256 colors)
4) Save as *.bmp
Lot of thanks Bonz, you saved me from the asylum xD (just kidding).

ADX
