View Full Version : Something about challenges...

I just wanted to know... that mission editor, something like wwp, but for wa, that deadcode was planning to make...
know of it will be for 4.0? If not, any hint would be apreciated...
The reason of the question? Remember my "Worms Armaggedon: Alex Challenge" thread? I'll make the challenges as missions once it's implemented... and new ones... It was my purpose from the beggining.

Although can't do replays, one can use fraps or similar.

fiddler lets you make missions?
and download them?
No, I meant to create the missions, like wwp editor, and put them here to be downloaded... like that pacman challenge and that...
Like placing an invisible target on top of the pacman, to make it work, and that.
I was hoping of that, because placing mines, targets, crates, and turn events would be easy to do... And since deadcode talked about that... I wanted to know if it was hoped for v4.0
If it is, wait for the return of my challenges soon... well, the time the patch takes :p

Fiddler is more powerful than the mission editor. The only things you can't specify in a fiddler scheme are a terrain and the teams. You can set those manually in a hotseat (or networked, for that matter) game.
Fiddler is more powerful than the mission editor.
More powerful perhaps, but not as convinient as the WWP mission editor.
I wonder if the fiddler scheme support will include those event options too.
I'd rather like to see the WWP mission editor get adapted for W:A.

Me too, I had the chance to use it, and it was very easy to work with...
Also, I don't know anything about hex, and programming stuff... so I don't think I can do it so easily... Also, I'm looking for something everyone can download, and play. User friendly, and no fiddler needed, you know... Like that thread I made long ago.
The thing that made me stop doing them was basically that, because people had to extract the map and scheme, place the worms, and try to do it as I think they should... a mission sets the map, scheme, worms, and things to do, all in one, and if it comes with a patch, it's availible for all.
You don't need to use hex

Oh! If it's easy, could someone link me to a page with some help?
Because writing it could be too much, wouldn't it? :p
Well, I've just realised you do, but there's full instructions, and you don't need to know a thing about programing.
