Hi,
First, I'm french, so excuse my English ;)
I'm posting here because I didn't find a Worms 1 forum... Perhaps a moderator would move the thread.
Anyway, I've found the Worms 1's videos on this forum, but one is missing !
I wonder if it was on all the versions...
It was in a classroom : a teacher was shouting on a pupil, and we saw a worm's nose appearing on the pupil's face, who finally transformed completely in a worm.
Then the teacher transformed too ; both of them had weapons, and the video finished on this.
I don't know if I dreamt it... Does anybody know this video ?
And better : does anybody can send me this video ? :)
Again : sorry for my english : it's not the first time I go on an English/American forum, but I think it's the first time I speak so bad...
Thanks ;)
hmm....
I don't remember anything of the sort. But then again, I haven't played Worms1 in about a decade.

By the way, it was brilliant english for a french person. I seriously wouldn't've known you were foreign. :) The only thing I noticed the first time was: "does anybody can send me this video ? :)" And I thought (as I hadn't read the french part) that it was just an error.

Seriously ?
Thanks ;)
Of course, when I see my "does anybody can send me this video ? " now, I feel ashamed, but I really thought I did more mistakes...
Anyway, so I'm crazy... I invented that video ? :p
Crap.

Hmm... Never heard anything like that before.
IIRC, Spadge once mentioned that they made an advertisment that was shown in cinemas (!).
Maybe it's that one...
wouldn't've
Wow. :D
The advert was overseen by Ocean Software during 1995 and shown in Cinemas in the UK. If I recall correctly, we included the video on the initial releases of Worms United for PC, in the Spring of 1996 - and nowhere else.

Oh! Is it the one that Sandwich described in the first post? Any chance to get it somewhere?
Or does anybody have that version of Worms?

Oh, I'm reassured ^^
The matter is that I think I have this version of Worms, but when I launch the game, the video can't start (but we can see that there must be a video).
So there is a kind of "black screen", with some "cabalistic signs" (I'm not sure of this google's translation ;)), and the game finally starts.
I have a similar problem with the videos *before a game* : I just have the first frame and the sound, but the video can't play...
Fortunatly, somebody put these videos on the web, but I don't know how I could read the introduction's video...
Is it a KMVC matter again...?
Thanks ;)

Yes, the W1 videos use KMVC too.
In these 2 threads several people have tried different ways to convert the W1 and W2 videos:

http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=26778
None have worked for me though.

You don't understand : all my childhood is in these videos ^^
10 years ago, I decided to become an infographist because of them !

None have worked for me though.I've read them, but my videos aren't in an .avi format : actually, I can't even find the files !
But why could we read them in the past and not anymore ? I mean, the CD installed the KMVC, and it doesn't now ?
