You can't make maps with the file ending *.bit in MS Paint.
If you mean importing a .bmp (or .jpg & .tga) map, go to the ingame map editor (right clicking on the map preview in the game setup lobby) and click on the blue diskette symbol to import maps from the ..\User\Import folder in your W:A install directory.
I saved it as a jpg (thats alright, right ) and I dont get how I get to right clicking spot.? Wich map previw screen?

.BIT -maps or bitmaps? If you need .BIT -maps, you need to get a converter and convert bitmaps into .BIT -maps. I recommend the BITMonkey by Annelid, which can be downloaded from BlameThePixel (http://www.blamethepixel.com/file.php?id=0027) .BIT -maps must be placed to a folder named SavedLevels.
JPG extension is not a good extension for maps, as it is compressed with data loss. Use BMP.
When you start setting up a game, you must right-click on the area which changes the map by left-clicking it.

Where you set up a game before starting it.
Where you choose players, weapons and other stuff.
There's a small preview on the top left or right.

Haven't you read my previous posts?
You need to save your .bmp, .jpg or .tga images to your ..\User\Import folder, then click the blue diskette symbol and import them.
If there was the need for zipping files I surely would have told you so.
Have you made sure that your map has the correct size (1920x696)?

Not really... jpg ruins the quality. Use bmp
or png....
Well, using a .png would completely save you from the need to import the map.

indeed, was just thinking that.
Well, using a .png would completely save you from the need to import the map.
But if he only uses one colour in his map, it's better to have it as .BIT imo
smaller file, better quality even with BIT format.
And yes, using .jpg is a crime against mapmaking
And yes, using .jpg is a crime against mapmaking
