Although I have been an active member of this forum, some of you may be suprised to know that I am rubbish at worms. Could someone provide a link to a tutorial providing info on the most popular schemes, and how to play them decently?

Just go onto Wormnet and ask someone wonderful! :D That really is the easiest way to learn.

There's a list of all the schemes in the lower left corner. Granted they aren't the most detailed descriptions [yet, work Run!], but it should give ye a general idea about what's played online.

Also here's an extremely detailed guide to the Team17 scheme. I can imagine you'll appreciate the scheme, and unlike some of the good old ones is still actually being hosted frequently.

But the general tip would definetley be to not give up. Actually playing lots of games is the only way to get good at it all.
