i've waited 17 years but theres still no ranks? what gives? :(
There's a rumor that Deadcode, the guy who's working on the beta updates, has traveled to the UK a few months ago and hasn't yet come back.
Let's hope the guys at T17 HQ have already finished the whole galleon [sic!] of beer or otherwise he'll need to sleep off quite a hangover.

the whole galleon[sic!] of beer
Gallon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gallon).
A galleon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galleon) is a ship.
I recommend http://dict.leo.org if you are not sure about english orthography.
I use it every time i am posting here. ;)

I know this article. Just wanted to help non-english forumers to write posts with a good (not perfect) ortography.

Well, then you obviously have not grasped the meaning of it.
to indicate that an incorrect or unusual spelling, phrase, or other preceding quoted material is a verbatim reproduction of the quoted original and is not a transcription error.
I am of course perfectly well aware of the different spellings of gallon and galleon.
I have been using dict.leo.org and dict.cc for several years now (including shortcut buttons in my browser), I also have two English dictionaries on my shelf and can say that my English vocabulary and orthography is quite good.
I was of course expanding my running gag about the connection of beer and T17 and was referring to this post from Plasma (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=510454&postcount=8) and this reply from Kilburn (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=510566&postcount=10) which started it.

Not you, bonz. You was meant as: You, those who are not speaking english as your mother tongue, excluding bonz. ;)
