This problem is a little trickey.
I've been mooching off my neighbor's unsecured WiFi because I wont have my own internet for a few months. I found out that my neighbors had some of their ports secured, particularly port 6999. Although I can play on WormNet, I can't host and sometimes get cut off. I also can't play halo online at all. I heard that I couldn't change this port from being secured from my house, only from theirs (since they are brodcasting the connection). Is this true? Is their no way to open this port? If it helps, I'm using a NetGear MA111 WiFi Adapter. Thanks!
