Right now, you can have up to 8 worms per team. It would be nice to have at least 9 so that there's 18 worms instead of 16 when you play with 2 teams. 18 being the max. number of worms possible in a map.

Adding more worms has already been suggested before.

24 would be a better number though, as it is divisible by 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 12.
And you would only miss 3 or 4 worms if you play with 21 (divisible by 7) and 20 (divisible by 5 and 10).

yes... but we don't know the exact numbers... and we hope deadcode appears around here soon... or someone tells us what's with his disappearance...

Even eating and sleeping is more important than the next patch.
And a job to have enough money to buy food and have a bed under a roof.

Or perhaps the server where the artifical entity known as "Deadcode" is being maintained.

I have a job, a wife, and 3 kids. It's a sheer miracle I have any time at all to play any game. I find worms gives me a lot of enjoyment and there's something new to try since no 2 games are the same.

Going back to topic, I think 24 is a nice number to have as a max on any given map. Hopefully Deadcode will add this feature to the game, and I am also hoping for better automatic placement of the worms in a future update.

Well, with a total number of worms increased 24 (instead of 18) you could still play with 3 worms on each team if teams are increased to 8.

Also, if 8 teams could be availible, there should be a two new colors for them

24 would be the best number in evenly dividing the worms between a maximum numbers of teams.
(Without making the total number too high, which would need bigger landscapes, I'd say).

if the terrian becomes bigger enough, then 48 could be a nice number... like 24, for the dividing thing, but bigger :p (actually, this makes 8 worms per team, 6 teams... the actual possible maximum... but you surely noticed :p)

Yes, the Fiddler (http://wiki.thecybershadow.net/The_Fiddler) allows it. Logically, if Fiddler support is being added, the worm maximum will be increased to 48.
