Like a cross between Galaga and Asteroids, maybe with a hint of Space Invaders. It's got brilliant pixel work, the gameplay is sufficiently frantic, and if you're really determined it is possible to reach the ending (make sure to set aside a couple hours first, though). I wasn't a huge fan of the music, but it fit the atmosphere and didn't make my ears bleed, so I guess it sufficed.
Anyway, play this. Now.

It's not that awesome, but it is pretty good.

I suppose just as a game, it isn't exceptionally awesome, but the fact that it was pulled off in Flash, and seemingly without major glitches, is pretty awesome to me. Heck, Alien Hominid and Dad 'n Me were far glitchier by comparison.
Why do flash games have to be glitchy? This game has extreamly simple game mechanics and really no physics to threaten stability..

The enemy toughness seemed to be proportional to my weapons and stuff as I progressed, so the difficulty level never really increased, before it really spiked at the place where a bunch of things attacked me with rapid laser fire. I died there.

That was fun. (WARNING:SPOILERS!) http://img240.imageshack.us/my.php?image=gammaend8tp.jpg
I loved every piece of it. Loved the graphics, loved the music. The end boss is so freakin awesome, too.
I like their other game "rat maze". :)
