Yeah, it isn't by any means "useful"... but it can be fun. Staying at my friends' place, he was upstairs in his room and I slept in the couch but we were still able to talk with pictochat. We actually stayed up for about 2 hours just drawing and messing around. It sounds crazy, but we're pretty good at entertaining ourselves.

yhea ive been tryin 2 find out if picochat is wifi but nothin there has 2 be away!
I think it's main intention is for long train journeys and plane flights and stuff.
You can stick Pictochat on and join someone's room. If nobody is already running it you can start one and people might join.
No harm in it, although wi-fi would be sweet. Using a DS as a mobile messenger device would be pretty cool.

Well, with the DS internet browser on it's way, I think there's a pretty good chance of some kind of IM ability with the DS.

The DS Browser will probably be much better than the PSP one... Faster to write things and CLICKY, with the pen.
Writing stuff on the PSP sucks, though moving the cursor with the analog nub isn't that bad...
