is urs a pirated game? and which OS? if its win2000, only the latest update fixes it....

but my 7-zip update reqd. me to type in the installation path....u can also type in another path and copy those files to the games folder....download the update from these links and u'll get the 7-zip update which requires the user to type the installation path

links: ftp://ftp.team17.com/pub/t17/patches/pc/WA_Update-3.6.26.5_Beta.exe

if u r confused about '7-zip update' it is just the format of the archive

if the link doesn't work, go to the team17 website for wa.... http://wa.team17.com and then enter the site....then click on the update and dwnld the update

The pirated versions actually don't work. Well, chances are there's a pirated version somewhere out there which does, but I have found a fair few people experience problems with pirated versions which prevents them playing.

ya the updates usually overwrite the files and make it unusable....u will need a crack to run ur game now....(or if there are registry enteries of the game in the folder(not those which were brought by the update), enter them into the registry)

I have the same problem. I have the triple pack worms and have downloaded the newest update. It lets me edit teams etc but when I click start match it just goes to black and never starts the game. I've got windows xp btw.

LoL,I have pirated too and it works perfectly.Firstly it didnt but noticed that instlaling patch and update in wrong order makes it unusable.
IN order to play with pirate version you need to install first patch then update, then it works.

Note that there's a difference between an .ISO file and a "pirated" version. And neither of them are a welcome topic on these forums.

Ewok: Yeah, but not talk about where to get one.

AFAIK discussion of ISOs is ok since there's a legitimate way of obtaining and using them.

thnx, but we know the difference btween an ISO file and pirated games.....
ISO files help us save our time by not loading the CD everytime and pirated games help us save money, isn't it.....well watever, jokes apart,

i have an original, of course, and i didn't patch it...i straightaway installed the update, it didn't make any difference
