a) is the loading screen pink?
b) running winamp in background?
Try lowering your resolution, if you have it set higher than default.
I fixed the same problem that way.
I have the same Problem and registered here... I don't want to install an older graphiks driver, because other games don't like it. is there any resolution?
edit: I tried every resoluton: no success! And there is no Winamp running

Hello. I've solved this problem with DOS game Mario. I had started that game, then alt+tab, and after that i've loaded WWP. It works now fine.

tested and works, you deserve a shiny medal for this m8 xD. now hhe gives away the source code so if any of u programmers wanna take a look at it and try and figure out whats causing it and just make a progie to fix it (i dunno how hard that is) that would be nice :).
I had the same problem, turned out mine was down to Yahoo Messenger.
Has either of you WWP newbies [!!!] tried running the game in 256 colour? As in turn the Windows pallet to 256 colours or something like that. Maybe just enable the option in the WWP shortcut properties, though.
It would make sense that a DOS game would do exactly that. To me. But what do I know.
You don't need to do that, once you've found the program that Worms doesn't like (eg Winamp or Yahoo), then it works fine without having to adjust anything.

2 things:
1. i closed all my progies.
2. i tried 256 colors
and yet mario worked better.
Well maybe my computer's less insane than yours :p
