As I understand it, each DS (or each copy of MKDS, or something, I don't know) has a "friend code".

If you "register" someone else's friend code, and they register yours, then Nintendo WiFi will automatically pair you up if possible when you select a "friends" game.

click on the nintendo wifi menu, then in the middle it says friend codes, then click it and choose confirm friendcode! Post that code here! ;)

Most likely because I haven't been on the WFC in something like 3 weeks.:p Also maybe because I haven't linked up my friend code to my My Nintendo account yet.

Once I actually start getting online regularly though, I should be able to clear it up.

Finally got the chance to play against Ben. It was good fun, it's ironic he'd be Waluigi and I'll be Wario for the first game, it's like looking into the future of ourselves :P

Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing his article about the game we had against eachother.

finaly got it a couple of days ago.

So far I must say I am not very happy with the online service. Most of the people I try to race against in MKDS get cut off before the race starts or midway into it (even if they're winning, so I know it isn't an intentional disconnect). Animal Crossing refuses to stay stable for more than a few minutes at a time without dropping the connection and thusly erasing all unsaved activity.

By the way, Zeor, Rolf or whoever that hated villager of yours was just moved into my town. He's all HELLO and I'm all HI *goes to bed and instantly turns to dust*

I didn't hate Rolf.

The primary reason for the frequent crashes in AC was because my USB dongle kept crashing my computer.

I bought a router instead. I haven't set it up yet.

I have a plan -- I can get my laptop online, and given that it's pretty newly reformatted, my dongle will hopefully work with it. It's just a matter of whether the dongle simply disagreed with my desktop computer or if the *******'s completely defective.

I lightly nudged the dongle today by accident and the damn thing bent at the joint and stopped working. Fortunately it's still under store warranty so I can walk in and get it replaced.

Frankly that's by far the easiest I've ever seen a Nintendo product break.

Presumably the WiFi dongle. It's a little USB pen-drive looking thing Nintendo put out that you can plug into a PC and it'll make a little WiFi point so you can play DS online even if you don't have a wireless network.
