Tried searching, but I get a 404 error everytime I hit search. Anyways, is there a way to run mayhem in a window instead of fullscreen? I know in w3d you could type /win in the launcher to do it. Was just wondering if any command can be added to the shortcut to run the game windowed.....Thanks

I don't know a thing about this but you might try that /win command you used in 3D. That might work. This is random guess. The only game I have on PC is Worms Armageddon. Worms 3D, WF:US and Worms 4:Mayhem are on Xbox. And I don't know how to window WA. Ding! Idea! Maybe you could go into the settings menu (in Windows, not the game) and set it to windoed. Or go into the Worms 4: Mayhem files and folders and muck about in there. Try these ways and see what happens.
Well I press alt tab and it goes like that, might not do the same for you though.

I dunno about running it in a window, but you can minimize it by doing control-alt-delete, right clicking on the program, and hitting "minimize"...you might be able to put it in a window by doing the same thing with "restore", but I've never tried that.
lol. he means to PLAY it in window mode. not only minimize to get to the desktop. I tried adding /win to the shortcut but that didn't work for me..

Yes there is, add an extra / to the front of the /FS , so it says "//FS"
This is in the default file in your worms folder. Let me know if it works.

he means the logo on the menu screen - the font used for the word 'Mayhem' is different.

The american version is different. It has a different font for Mayhem (which I find much better)

not a way you would find sufficiently simple to bother.
by the way, running the demo with /win in the command line does launch it in a window.
That's strange. I tryed it and it didn't work. The game won't get windowed.
We need to have on the shortcut's "direction" line this:
"Directory\WORMS 4 MAYHEM.EXE" //WIN"
Right?

1. go to w4m directory
2. open launcher.cfg using notepad
3. lower the resolution (the fullscreen resolution will become offcentered)
4. add "/WIN" to the line
5. always run the game using worms4mayhem.exe instead of launcher.exe
done!
