Not really. Looking at it now, I can see things that could be better. The animation could be a little smoother, the egg isn't great and the compression job isn't as good as it could be.

The problem is, it's hard to get a very swift motion in an animation (especially if using anishop). Reducing frame time to 1 is about the quickest you can get it, but even if that is set then the forum slows it down, alot, so hense it's very hard to get that "gravitational pull" in an avatar.

IE will display frames correctly when a frame time of 6/100 seconds is used. Anything less and the browser is unhappy.

As for the egg falling, yes.. it should be faster. But the effect wouldn't be as nice.

Oh, and it's hence, not hense.

You don't NEED to slow the frames down/speed them up, just move them a different amount each time. The egg moves by the same amount of pixels each frame. Increase this, and it'll give the impression of it speeding up.

Well OK, I suppose you'd need a much bigger picture before you started to notice any difference, but when you consider the size of the avatar, you wouldn't really see much speed difference as the egg was falling anyway. I never even noticed until someone mentioned it.

Yes, but that only does work to a certein extent, sometimes, it doesn't work.I think in this case it would work.

and all browser framerates aside, that image still doesn't animate well. FireFox has no limitations on framerates, and the egg still falls too slowly.

IIRC, that image was set to 6 anyway. I just put too many frames in.

I still think it looks quite nice with the slower falling.

The first one (Robert Webb) doesn't have a neck because it was photoshopped out. Justin Long does have a neck because later I decided to improve the avatar but couldn't be bothered to photoshop his neck out.
